Care instructions

Fine jewelry is crafted to last a lifetime, but it still requires a little mindful care to maintain its brilliance and structural integrity. Follow these essential guidelines to keep your pieces looking pristine for years to come.

1. Daily Wear & Protection

  • Last On, First Off: Always make your jewelry is the finishing touch. Put your pieces on after applying makeup, perfume, hairspray, and lotions to prevent cloudy buildup. Take them off before your nightly skincare routine.
  • Know When to Take it Off: Remove your jewelry before swimming in pools or oceans (chlorine and saltwater can damage metals), intense exercising, lifting weights, or doing heavy household chores that could subject the piece to hard impacts.
  • Mind the Chemicals: Keep your jewelry away from harsh household cleaners, bleach, and heavy hand sanitizers, which can dull the finish of the gold over time.

2. Cleaning for Brilliance

  • The Gentle Soak: To restore the sparkle to everyday pieces, soak your jewelry for 10–15 minutes in a small bowl of warm water mixed with a few drops of mild, fragrance-free dish soap.
  • The Soft Brush: Use an ultra-soft bristle brush (like a baby toothbrush) to gently scrub behind the stones and under the settings where daily lotions and oils tend to collect.
  • Dry Completely: Rinse thoroughly under warm running water and pat dry with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. Avoid using paper towels or tissues, which have wood fibers that can cause micro-scratches on polished gold.

3. Proper Storage

  • Keep it Separated: Diamonds are incredibly hard and can easily scratch your gold bands or other softer gemstones if they rub together. Always store your pieces individually in their own soft pouch, a dedicated jewelry box compartment, or the original packaging.
  • Cool and Dry: Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme humidity.

4. Routine Maintenance

  • Check Your Settings: Even the most secure settings experience natural wear over time. We recommend taking a close look at your pieces every few months, and having prongs professionally inspected once a year to ensure your stones remain safe and secure.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you use natural or lab-created diamonds and gemstones?

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the specific product description, all of our jewelry is meticulously crafted using premium lab-grown diamonds and gemstones.

How long will it take to receive my jewelry?

Our collection includes in-stock pieces and made-to-order designs. Availability is shown for the option you select above. Made-to-order pieces are crafted for you and generally ship in 2–4 weeks. Sizing or customization may add time. You will receive a tracking number by email when your order ships.

What metals do you use?

Solid metal only — 10K, 14K and 18K gold in yellow, white and rose, plus platinum. We do not use gold plating, gold fill or vermeil, so the color is the metal itself and cannot wear through, and your piece will not tarnish or discolor your skin.

Is this sold as a pair or as a single piece?

Each product page answers this directly on its “Sold as” line — a matched pair, a single piece, or a pendant or charm supplied without a chain. Check that line before ordering.

How should I clean my fine jewelry at home?

To keep your pieces sparkling, simply soak them for 10-15 minutes in a bowl of warm water mixed with a few drops of mild, fragrance-free dish soap. Gently scrub behind the stones with an ultra-soft baby toothbrush to remove daily oils and lotions, then rinse under warm water and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
