Past K on the D-Z scale a diamond's warmth is visible without training. That is not the same as a fault.
What it is
Still a white diamond
These stones are classified as white diamonds — the color is not strong enough to qualify as a hue in its own right, so they are not fancy color diamonds either.
What it means for you
The best value on the scale
This is not a compromise if the setting suits it. Warmth reads as champagne rather than as a fault, and yellow or rose gold makes a virtue of it. In platinum, beside a white metal, the same stone will look tinted.
The saving is real: a stone here can cost a fraction of a near-colorless one of the same size and clarity.
