Heart-Cut
One feature makes a heart, and it is the cleft: the notch between the lobes. It wants to sit dead center, cut cleanly to a defined V, opening the lobes at the same angle. Get that right and the outline reads at a glance; leave it lazy and the shape goes slack. No millimeter rule governs it — the cutter's proportions do.
Millimeter sizing is standard, so a heart is ready for a seat cut to fit. In our ring builder, look for a mounting that keeps the cleft clear.
